At Elite Interiors and Designers, we understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our team. Please read through our policy to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding cancellations.
1. Consultation Appointments
• Cancellation Notice: Clients can cancel or reschedule consultation appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any charges.
• Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or failure to attend the appointment without prior notice.
2. Design Projects
• Initial Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the project cost is required to commence any design project. This deposit covers initial consultations, design planning, and any preliminary work undertaken.
• Cancellation Before Project Commencement: If the client cancels the project before any work has started beyond the initial consultation and planning phase, the deposit will be forfeited.
• Cancellation After Project Commencement: Once the project has started, the client is liable for payment of all work completed up to the point of cancellation. This includes design fees, procurement costs, and any other expenses incurred. A detailed breakdown of the costs will be provided.
3. Procurement and Custom Orders
• Standard Items: For standard items ordered on behalf of the client, cancellations are accepted within 48 hours of order placement. Any cancellation after this period will incur restocking fees as per the supplier’s policy.
• Custom Orders: Custom-made items and personalized designs cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed and confirmed. The client is responsible for the full cost of custom orders.
4. Refunds
• Eligible Refunds: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 14 business days. The refund amount will be credited back to the original mode of payment or as agreed upon with the client.
• Non-Refundable Charges: Certain charges, including initial consultation fees, design fees, and costs for custom orders, are non-refundable.
5. Changes to the Project Scope
• Amendments: Any amendments or changes to the project scope initiated by the client may affect the project timeline and cost. We will provide a revised estimate for the client’s approval before proceeding with any changes.
6. Force Majeure
• Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events, we will work with the client to reschedule or adjust the project timeline. No cancellation fees will be applied in such cases.
